About Lockbox Seeds

Lockbox Seeds is an editorial strain reference built for home growers who actually read the label on the pack. We document the lineage, flowering window, indoor and outdoor yields, and the breeder of record for every cannabis strain we cover. We do not sell seeds, we are not a marketplace, and we do not accept paid placement in the strain library. What we do is point you to the seed banks that actually ship the genetics they advertise, and we disclose every paid link.

Why the lockbox

The name comes from how we treat strain entries. A strain only goes in the lockbox once we have the breeder on record, the parent strains cross-checked against an independent registry, and at least one documented grow report that matches the breeder’s published numbers. Anything that fails those checks either stays out, or stays on the bench until we can finish the work.

How entries stay current

Every page is stamped with the date it was last reviewed. If a strain leaves our recommended seed bank’s catalogue, the “where to buy” module is pulled until it returns. If a breeder rebrands or shuts down, we update the directory rather than leaving the broken history in place.
